At Scan Choco, responsibility and integrity are a natural part of who we are and how we do business. We work closely with our suppliers around the world to ensure high product quality, fair working conditions, and full transparency throughout the value chain. Focusing on the environment, social standards, and ethical business practices, we build trust and confidence – for our partners, customers, and consumers alike.

Environment and climate

At Scan Choco, we are committed to taking active responsibility for the environment and climate. We work systematically to reduce our carbon footprint through energy-efficient solutions and investments in sustainable technologies. Around 65% percent of the electricity we use is generated on-site via solar panels, with the remainder supplied entirely from renewable sources. In addition, our vehicle fleet includes electric cars, we continuously develop smarter packaging solutions, and we maintain a strong focus on improving our waste sorting processes.

Social responsibility

People and relationships are at the heart of our business, and we do our utmost to create an attractive workplace where people thrive. We offer health programmes, flexible working arrangements, and social activities for our employees. Our suppliers are required to adhere to international conventions on human rights and workers’ rights, helping us ensure fair working conditions throughout the entire value chain.

Integrity & ethics

At Scan Choco, integrity, transparency, and strong relationships are the cornerstones of everything we do. We build long-term relationships with both customers and suppliers through clear agreements, traceability, and documentation. We know we do not have all the answers, but we are constantly working to improve – step by step – and to create value for our customers, employees, and the communities we are part of.

Code of Conduct

Scan Choco expects ethical, social, and environmentally responsible conduct across our entire value chain, and all our suppliers are required to sign our Code of Conduct. This ensures that our suppliers meet the high standards we uphold in areas such as environmental responsibility, ethical practices, and consumer safety. We use the comprehensive Code of Conduct from the Danish Business Authority, which covers key areas including human rights, working conditions, environmental responsibility, and anti-corruption. This provides our customers with full confidence in both our suppliers and our products.
